We are proud to lead the planning and production of the 125th Street Business Improvement District’s annual Harlem Holiday Lights celebration, a signature event that officially kicks off the holiday season in Harlem, New York. This dynamic, family-friendly event features the Caravan of Lights, lighting up Harlem’s iconic 125th Street with interactive activations and community engagements that capture the spirit and cultural richness of the neighborhood. Our strategic approach ensures seamless execution, engaging hundreds of attendees, local businesses, and media outlets to amplify Harlem’s holiday spirit.
Beyond Harlem Holiday Lights, our longstanding partnership with the BID spans over a decade, during which we have successfully produced numerous high-profile events. Notably, we managed all facets of the BID hosted International Downtown Association’s New York Convention, curating immersive experiences such as guided bus tours, an exclusive outing at the historic Cloisters, and a large-scale cultural showcase at the Magic Johnson Theater, welcoming over 1,000 attendees.
Our expertise extends to producing the BID’s Annual Meetings, gathering influential property and business owners, developers, and public officials to discuss Harlem’s growth and opportunities. Additionally, we played a pivotal role in organizing a critical panel discussion on the Rezoning of 125th Street, overseeing panelist selection, venue coordination, logistics, and agenda creation. Our efforts resulted in an event that was lauded by the BID’s President and Board Chairman as “the most well-orchestrated event” in the organization’s history.
Our work with the 125th Street BID continues to reflect our commitment to delivering engaging, high-impact events that celebrate and support Harlem’s evolving cultural and economic landscape.
We played a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s event strategy and execution. We conceptualized and produced the inaugural FOCUS100 conference, hailed as “The Most Diverse Tech Conference on the Planet.” This groundbreaking event brought together over 200 founders of tech startups and industry leaders, creating an unprecedented space for innovation, networking, and thought leadership.
Our responsibilities extended across all facets of event production, including logistics management, recruitment and oversight of event staff, volunteers, and third-party vendors. We led the development of comprehensive marketing strategies and event collateral to ensure brand alignment and audience engagement. Leveraging extensive industry networks, we managed key sponsorship relationships with major partners such as Google, Facebook, AMEX Open, and Mobile Future, while also coordinating high-profile speakers and panelists to elevate the conference’s impact.
The success of FOCUS100 catalyzed its growth, expanding to over 500 attendees by its fourth year, and establishing it as a must-attend event within the tech and startup ecosystem. Beyond FOCUS100, we spearheaded the creation, production, and management of all digitalundivided’s national events, driving expansion into key markets across the U.S.
Through strategic planning and execution, we helped digitalundivided scale its event initiatives, fostering meaningful connections and opportunities for underrepresented entrepreneurs in the tech industry.
For the grand opening of Red Lobster Harlem, the largest Red Lobster in the U.S., we led the planning and production of a VIP reception and ribbon-cutting ceremony that celebrated the brand’s deep commitment to the Harlem community.
We managed every aspect of the event from event strategy, logistics, and execution to the development of marketing collateral and branded giveaways. We collaborated closely with local artists to incorporate their work into the restaurant’s decor and the event itself, highlighting Harlem’s vibrant cultural landscape and fostering a sense of community ownership.
In addition to event design and production, we managed guest outreach and list management, ensuring the attendance of key stakeholders such as local politicians, community leaders, property developers and owners, Harlem-based influencers, food enthusiasts, celebrities, and top-tier media. We leveraged our strategic relationships to maximize event visibility and media coverage, positioning the opening as a milestone for both the brand and the Harlem community.
The result was a one-of-a-kind grand opening that not only celebrated Red Lobster’s expansion into Harlem but also solidified its presence as a valued partner in the community, generating positive press and long-term local engagement.
For over a decade, we were instrumental in producing and executing BRAG’s signature events, driving their mission to empower and celebrate diversity within the fashion and retail industries. Our role consisted of the comprehensive planning and execution of BRAG’s flagship events, including the Scholarship and Awards Gala, Black History Month Celebrations, Holiday Toy Drives, and Fundraisers, ensuring each occasion aligned with the organization’s mission and resonated with its core audience.
From concept development to on-site execution, we led every aspect of event production—developing compelling themes and visual concepts, curating venue selections, designing immersive decor, and overseeing the creation of branded collateral such as invitations and souvenir journals. Each event was crafted to deliver a unique and memorable experience that honored BRAG’s legacy and amplified its impact.
Leveraging industry networks, we successfully secured high-profile celebrity talent and VIP guests, elevating BRAG’s visibility and enhancing the attendee experience. Notable personalities including basketball legend Earvin “Magic” Johnson, among others.
Through strategic planning, creative execution, and a deep understanding of BRAG’s vision, we have played a vital role in elevating the organization’s events, strengthening its community engagement, and driving long-term support for its mission.
